Mr Michael F. Hassing has been promoted to Executive Vice President
Senior Vice President Michael F. Hassing, (42), Hellerup, has been promoted to Executive Vice President in A.P. Møller.
Michael Hassing joined A.P. Møller as a trainee in 1979, and after finishing the shipping education he joined the Line Department (now Maersk Sealand). From 1981 to 1998 he primarily worked within the container shipping, both in Copenhagen and abroad.
In 1998 he was appointed Senior Vice President and returned from a managerial position in Japan to the Line Department in Copenhagen, where he is responsible for all regional liner activities in Europe.
Michael Hassing has supplemented his education with management courses at IMD in Switzerland and Wharton in the USA.
