Mr Thomas Thune Andersen has been promoted to Executive Vice President
Mr Thomas Thune Andersen, (45), London, will, as of 1 September 2000, be promoted to Executive Vice President in A.P. Møller.


Mr Thomas Thune Andersen joined A.P. Møller as a shipping trainee in 1977. In 1981 he moved to Maersk Line (now Maersk Sealand) in Hong Kong with responsibility for sale.


In 1984 he joined the Maersk Line organisation in China, where he began the establishment of the company's own offices, until he in 1986 returned to Hong Kong as Deputy Managing Director.


In 1989 Mr Thomas Thune Andersen moved to Jakarta as Managing Director of the organisation in Indonesia. Here he worked until 1992, when he was transferred to Maersk Line in Taiwan. In 1994 he came to London as Managing Director for The Maersk Company Limited.


On 1 September 2000 Mr Thomas Thune Andersen returns to the head office in Copenhagen as head of Maersk Contractors and is in this connection promoted to Executive Vice President.


During his career he has supplemented his education at Harvard University.
