Promotions in A.P. Møller and Mærsk Olie og Gas
A.P. Møller announces the following promotions:
Technical Vice President Mr Jep Brink (48), Copenhagen, is as of 1 December 2001 promoted to Executive Vice President of the A.P. Møller company Mærsk Olie og Gas AS, which, i.a., is the operator for Dansk Undergrunds Consortium (DUC).
Jep Brink joined Mærsk Olie og Gas AS in 1979 as a Project Engineer and after his transfer to the Production Department in Esbjerg he was responsible for operationalisation of the Tyra gas field in 1984.
In 1986 Jep Brink was seconded for a two-year period to Shell in Oman. Upon his return to Denmark in 1988 he was appointed Senior Engineer and became Manager of the newly established Production Development Department where, for the next few years, he was in charge of the preparation of new development concepts and extension plans for most of the DUC fields in the North Sea.
In 1990 Jep Brink was appointed Vice President and the following year Senior Vice President, thus taking over the responsibility for the Drilling and Petroleum Engineering Departments.
Since April 1996, as Executive Vice President of Maersk Oil Qatar AS, Jep Brink has also been responsible for the oil interests of the A.P. Moller Group in Qatar. ___________________________________________________________________
Senior Vice President Oscar Rosendahl (45), Søborg, is as of 1 December 2001 promoted to Executive Vice President, Human Resources, in A.P. Møller.
Oscar Rosendahl joined A.P. Møller as a trainee. After finishing the shipping education and spending a year stationed in London he joined the Human Resources Department in 1980. His area of responsibility includes development of staff and organisation, employment of new staff and training.
Since he was appointed Head of Human Resources in 1990 Oscar Rosendahl has been responsible for the Human Resources Department. He was appointed Senior Vice President in 1998.
In 2001 Oscar Rosendahl became chairman of The International Consortium for Executive Development Research, ICEDR, USA and is also a member of The Advisory Council at the IMD in Switzerland.
Oscar Rosendahl has supplemented his education with management courses at IMD in Switzerland and Harvard Business School in the USA. Vice President Lars-Erik Brenøe (40), Gentofte, is as of 1 December 2001 promoted to Senior Vice President in A.P. Møller. ____________________________________________________________________

Lars-Erik Brenøe joined Corporate Secretariat as a lawyer in 1991. In 1993 Lars-Erik Brenøe moved to Mr Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller’s secretariat as his personal assistant.
Lars-Erik Brenøe, who was appointed Vice President in 1996, has supplemented his education with management courses at a.o. IMD in Switzerland.
