A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S extends the acceptance period for its recommended public cash offer to the shareholders of Broström AB (publ) to 16 January 2009
On 27 August 2008, A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S, through their wholly owned Swedish subsidiary Maersk Product Tankers AB, announced a recommended all cash offer (the “Offer”) for all A- and B-shares in Broström AB (publ) offering a price of SEK 57 in cash per share. The current acceptance period for the Offer expires on 28 November 2008.
The Offer is, inter alia, conditional upon receipt of necessary clearances from competition authorities. Clearance from the competition authorities is not expected prior to 28 November 2008 and A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S therefore extends the acceptance period until 16 January 2009 at 16.00 CET.
Other terms and conditions set out in the offer document, dated 15 September 2008, remain unchanged during the extended acceptance period.
